VIVPS has created established partnerships with Education providers and Disadvantaged organisations in many locations throughout Vietnam. Primarily most of the positions are available in Hanoi, as we wish to provide a quality service in one location before expanding. Although if required positions can be sourced for those wanting to teach in smaller locations throughout Vietnam.

Schools at all levels from Kindergarten to Secondary, and Universities, always have a need for foreign teachers. Through VIVPS Teacher Placement Service you can take the worry out of immersion into a new Culture and the inevitable language issues that accompany a job search in a foreign country.

Although you may feel that you are negotiating from a distance satisfactorily with a particular school and the language does not appear to be a problem, the understanding from both parties may not be what you think and you could arrive to find no job available. VIVPS takes the worry out of that and all of the information you receive will be accurate.

To become a volunteer is not necessarily about your giving, the true essence of teaching is in the learning you derive from others. The growth of friendships and the knowledge you gain through Cultural exchange, is the very essence of why VIVPS was created. We exist so that both sides of the Cultural equation are the true beneficiaries.

VIVPS projects can be undertaken on a short or long term basis with our primary focus on Education, the Environment, and Community Development. VIVPS has projects in both urban and rural areas throughout Vietnam, and offers the volunteer a unique perspective on life through its diverse range of programs.

If you have a specialised skill, or maybe you have a desire to work in a certain sector or geographic location, and you are finding it difficult to find a project that meets your requirements. Then please contact us at vivps.org@gmail.com and we will do what we can to tailor a program to suit your skills and preferences.

There are certain restrictions on the number of volunteers we can have in a project at any one time, so please give us plenty of notice regarding the program you are applying for and the your preferred commencement date. Please also look at our special projects as we post them, these programs are a part of our National Volunteer program and offers international volunteers the unique experience of working side by side with Vietnamese national volunteers to complete projects for a variety of local NGO’S and community groups.

Why VIVPS?

VIVPS structures its fee’s to cover real costs for administration, marketing, and a modest living allowance for its staff. VIVPS sets aside a percentage of any profits for the development of its National Volunteer Program.
