Area Sales Manager, Russia

The ELT Division is a global leader in the provision of multimedia English language teaching and learning materials. Operating in over 100 countries, it reaches millions of teachers and students each year to support the development of English language proficiency.
The Division is now recruiting for an Area Sales Manager for its new operation in Russia.
Based in our distributor’s Moscow office, the role includes the following key responsibilities:
• Preparing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to maximise sales of the Oxford ELT list
• Managing and developing relationships with distribution partners, as well as key a network of institutional and school chain accounts
• Influencing future publishing policy for the territories
• Identifying and researching new sales and marketing opportunities in the territories
• Leading, motivating and developing the performance of staff
• Ensuring protection of the Oxford University Press copyrights and brand identify
You will be:
• An experienced ELT and/or Publishing professional with strong sales and marketing experience, together with distribution channel management experience
• Highly results-oriented, with a track-record of leading teams who deliver on your objectives
• A fluent communicator in Russian and English, with strong interpersonal skills
• Commercially astute, an able negotiator, at ease with financial data
• Up-to-date with office and educational technologies
• Experience of Teaching English as a Foreign Language
