IMMEDIATE VACANCIES IN DUBAI/BILINGUAL SCHOOL/AMERICAN CURRICULUM


A large Bilingual School following the American curriculum in Dubai/The United Arab Emirates is looking for a School Principal, a Head of English Department and 2 English Teachers to start IMMEDIATELY. A 3 month- probation period is mandatory and for the benefit of both parties (Appointees and the school) and all references will be checked.

Further aspects will be discussed with short-listed candidates and here is a brief summary:

SCHOOL PRINCIPAL:
• Master’s degree/Education or above including a school principal’s qualification
• Minimum 5 years of proven and successful leadership and management experience in a complex environment
• Experience with ESL/EFL students
• Preference experience in the GCC or Arab countries & internationally
• Very flexible, positive and “can do” attitude
• Very strong academic background
• American curriculum experience
• Very strong interpersonal skills, patient and determinant to move the school forward
• Multi-tasked and able to make quick decisions
• Technologically savvy
• Able to lead and manage change and remarkable team building skills
• Experience with school inspection governmental bodies
• Excellent administration skills and well organized
• A Criminal Record Clearance from your home country
• A highly-motivated individual with an enthusiasm for success and excellence and able to inspire and motivate staff
• Able to hire, train, evaluate and retain successful teachers
• Teacher leadership and management successful previous experience

HEAD OF ENGLISH DEPARTMENT
• Master’s degree in Education/Curriculum and Instruction/ Teacher Training or above/Appropriate & suitable teaching and leadership qualifications
• Great teacher and able to lead a department over 20 teachers from KG to Grade 12
• Proven experience in curriculum & assessment development (Schemes of work; weekly, unit, trimester and yearly planning, continuous assessment & teaching resources-building)
• Excellent teacher training expertise and in all grades including KG
• Willing to model lessons and share the best practice continuously
• Remarkable team building skills and time management
• A Criminal Record Clearance from your home country
• A highly-motivated individual with an enthusiasm for success and excellence and able to motivate staff

ENGLISH TEACHER
• Qualified teacher with appropriate teaching qualification
• Intensive ESL/EFL experience
• Excellent teaching skills
• Able to build teaching resources that are aligned with the curriculum
• Team player
• A highly-motivated individual with an enthusiasm for success and excellence
