English Language Teachers Needed
LANGUAGE CONSULTANT, CORPORATE CLASSES, HITACHI CITY, Japan
Interac, Japan’s largest private provider of language teachers, is seeking applications from native English speakers for an immediate start as Language Consultant to teach group classes at a multinational company in Hitachi City, Ibaraki Prefecture from February 2012.
This is the type of opportunity does not come around so often. It is a contract position with a fixed schedule. In addition to general conversation lessons, the successful applicant will be asked to teach factory English, TOEIC® and executive English courses, as well as conducting diagnostic interview tests and level checks.
REQUIREMENTS
* Are a native speaker of English
* Have teaching experience
* Have a valid working visa for Japan
* Have an intermediate level of Japanese
* Have a bachelor’s degree (or higher, in any subject)
* Must currently reside in Japan and be willing to relocate to Hitachi City (assistance available).

TRAINING
Interac provides a comprehensive initial and ongoing training and support program for all Language Consultants.
REMUNERATION
A generous compensation package of 300,000 Japanese yen per calendar month is on offer plus the reimbursement of commuting expenses. Interac also offers a mix of paid and unpaid holiday time each year. A relocation allowance is also available.
NEXT STEPS
Interviews will be held in either Tokyo or Mito in Ibaraki Prefecture. Only those who qualify for an interview will be contacted.
