Teacher Trainers Needed in Malaysia

Chase Resourcing are recruiting for one of the biggest education organisations on mainland Malaysia.

The organization deals directly with the Ministry of Education to provide Malaysian Primary schools with English Language Teachers.

Our client currently requires 8 English language Teachers that have at least 3 years recent ESL experience with young learners (4-12 year olds) to fill positions in the Middle and East coast of Mainland Malaysia.

The Teachers will operate as Teacher Trainers and aim to improve the standard of English language teaching in the Malaysian Primary schools.

A major part of this very exciting project is to act as an on-site resource and to advise all School employees of best international practices of English Teaching inside and outside of the classroom.

Requirements

English Native Tongue

At least 3 years recent experience teaching English as a Foreign language to children aged from 4 – 12

120 hour TEFL / TEYL/ TESOL / CELTA / DELTA Certificate

A University Degree

Full Driving License

For visa purposes you must be from UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia or South Africa ( Due to visa restrictions at present )

Teachers are expected to:

Deliver a programme of Teacher Professional Development sessions for Malaysian Teachers of English

Improve the methodology and style of instruction in English teaching

Support, coach, and mentor Malaysian teachers of English in their classes

Manage school visits

Provide selections of one-on-one support

Formal on-going observations

Training & mentoring

Coaching & co-teaching

Remuneration / Package:

€20,000 yearly salary – (7,000 Ringgits per month) 25% bonus on basic salary(subject to targets being met)

Accommodation / living allowance provided monthly (750 Ringgits)

Return flights from wherever you are in the world

Company Car to a high standard with monthly fuel allowance provided (450 Ringgits)

Internet Access (Dongle)

Mobile phone with 50 Ringgits credit provided monthly ( all inter business calls are free)

Additional bonuses for classroom materials etc…

12 month rolling contract
