Volunteer English Teachers Needed in Costa Rica!

The Instituto Nacional de Aprendizaje or National Learning Center in Costa Rica is a government run organization which aims to bring free English classes to the nation's disadvantaged youth. There are 52 learning centers scattered across Costa Rica and may choose to work in a mix of rural, mountainous, beach and urban communities. Volunteers are paired with a Costa Rican co-teacher and assist in 20 hours of lessons per week and have the rest of the time free to travel and explore Costa Rica! Pre-departure, volunteers will work with EVOLC to choose the right learning center for them!

This is an excellent option for a recent TEFL/TESOL/CELTA graduate looking to gain more experience soon after earning their certificate. It is also an excellent opportunity for those who have not taught before and want to gain professional, international experience before applying for paid teaching positions around the world or are looking for practical experience in order to discover if teaching is their passion!
