English Teaching Positions in Astana

OVERVIEW:

Language Training Center (LTC) is a private language school, established in Astana, Kazakhstan. The main business idea of LTC is to organize high quality English courses provided ONLY by native speakers for all students. LTC offers customer oriented business English courses for national companies, IELTS courses for students that are willing to study abroad and Intensive English courses for school children.

In addition, LTC has strong relationships with Herriot Watt university, so as to provide preparation courses for those students who would like to get ready for partner university programmes.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:

Teacher will join our team of 10 foreign teachers and will be responsible for the provision of English language courses for all categories of our customers (mainly they are high school students). As well, teacher will be responsible for the testing of their students and further marking the tests. Teacher will be frequently involved in the analysis of courses LTC provides and will be welcome for their feedbacks.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Age: from 23-35

MUST BE A NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKER!!!

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION:

Completed University degree (BA or MSc degree, relevant or irrelevant to teaching) is a must Apostille of your university degree is a must

TEFL/TESOL certificate is a must

TRAINING, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

Minimum of 2 year of teaching English as a second language, along with a sound knowledge of education principles in a TESOL environment.

A student focused approach to teaching activities and an overall client-centered approach.

Curriculum development skills.

Experience in teaching Academic English Programmes

TEACHING CONDITIONS:

40 working hours a week

25 to 28 teaching hours and 12 hours preparation a week

2 days off in a week

10 students a class

Courses from Elementary to Advanced level
