ESL Maths Teacher needed for a school in Surathani, Thailand

Echo English are looking for a Native English Teacher who would be particularly interested in teaching Mathematics to secondary school children in Surathani, Thailand. The start date for this position is the 27^th April, 2015.

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone whose focus is on teaching Mathematics at secondary school level (aged between 11-16), in the style and practice of ESL/TEFL. You would be teaching for no more than 24 hours per week, actual lesson time, and you would be in school from Monday through to Friday. Textbooks and a curriculum will also be provided. Ideally, this candidate will have some experience in teaching this subject or be a holder of a relevant degree.

Location: Surathani is a province located in the south of Thailand. The city itself is vibrant, with plenty of historical and cultural attractions within reach. As this teacher will be positioned further south, it would also be a good area from which to head to the Gulf where the popular islands of Koh Samui, Koh Tao and Koh Phangan can be accessed.

Requirements:

- Native English Speaker

- Experience teaching Mathematics or in possession of a relevant degree

- Bachelor’s Degree

Benefits:

You will be paid 35,000 Thai Baht per month and have your work permit expenses covered. The Echo English team will provide support throughout your time with us. We also assist with finding suitable accommodation and obtaining a Non-Immigrant B visa (these expenses are not covered).
