ESL Curriculum Developer

As an experienced ESL Instructor, you will be delivering 25 hours contact teaching hours per week, with an additional 15 hours office and preparation hours.

The Role:

•In consultation with the Head of Curriculum Development, the Curriculum Development is responsible for recommending and developing creative instructional curriculum for all types of learning experiences to meet the needs of SESP.

•Produce training and support materials, including facilitator’s guides, participant’s guides, templates, tutorials, job aids and self-study material.

•Design, develop, produce and maintain approved learning products to meet the budget and time requirements. Incorporate current instructional design research and theory into learning experiences and mapping learning outcomes and assessments to specific instructional design strategies.

•Work with English Instructors to ensure that the course objectives are defined and met, the appropriate instructional method is selected and that instructional design standards and learning principals are applied to the development of each product.

•Collaborating with cross-functional project teams to develop resources and programs that support organizational initiatives.

•Incorporate program metrics and feedback from participants for continuous improvement of programs.

•Oversee aspects of product quality including content, editorial, and overall presentation of material, tracking and resolving issues through the

Quality Management System.

•Coordinate the receipt and authorization of use for the written and visual materials as need, technical subject matter and graphics, translations and other value added items as appropriate to ensure all necessary items are in place for product development.

Application Requirements:

•Highly qualified Curriculum Development professionals.

•At least 5 years’ experience in the ESL field with experience in writing and developing.

•CELTA, DELTA, TEFL and/or TOFL qualifications required

•Bachelor’s degree require with a master’s Degree preferred in linguistics, ESL, EFL pr similar discipline

•Proven experience and ability to teach ESL and ESP

•Proven teaching and instructional design experience in the Middle East in general and Saudi Arabia in particular preferred.

•History of solid ESL pedagogy with sound classroom management skills required.

Salary and Benefits

•Annual salary: SAR 270,000.00
