Hanoi, Vietnam - We are currently hiring for an April position teaching SAT to some of Hanoi's highest achieving students

We are currently hiring for an April position teaching SAT to some of Hanoi's highest achieving students. Students come from specialized schools in Hanoi and schools overseas, and expect high levels of performance and accomplishment.

Job applicant must have:

At least 2 years' experience teaching SAT reading, writing, and math

Verifiable university degree (preference will be given to those who have graduated from top universities)

The ability to teach SAT strategies and content clearly and thoroughly

Good communication skills generally

Professional attitude toward instruction

Experience teaching TOEFL and college entrance coaching a plus.

Job Details:

Guarantee of 25 teaching hours per week (overtime nearly always available, especially in spring, summer, and fall)

Group classes and 1:1 sessions, usually afternoons and evenings

Flight tickets to Hanoi provided

Return tickets provided upon completion of 12 month contract

Contract Details:

2-3 month trial period: Salary $2,500

If trial period goes well there will be an automatic salary bump to $3,000 per month.

If, after six months students have had high achievement and all parties are satisfied, salary will increase to $3,500 per month.

Overtime pay starts at $40 per hour for six months, after which it will be raised to $50 per hour.
