English Academic Director Internship

We offers a regular English Program, as well as, a free course for children from families who cannot afford English classes. We continuously need interns, preferably with TEFL/TESOL/CELTA or equivalent certifications, who are capable of meeting the high standards for our English Program.

Tasks:

● Teach two or more two or three-hour classes of up up to 15 students

(We offers English classes on weekday evenings and on Saturday)

● Take part in marketing the English Program

● Evaluate and provide professional development opportunities for new teachers

● Oversee the creation and editing of the i-House textbooks, workbooks, and exams distributed to students for use in the classroom

● Take part in teacher training activities and hiring of new teachers (as needed), in collaboration with the Human Resources department

● Take part in our efforts to evaluate the English Program and its teachers

● Create monthly course schedules in advance for the next 6 months, as well as, teacher and classroom assignments

● Plan, develop and implement new courses which will facilitate the standards needed to obtain and fulfill international certificates (according to the needs of the market)

Requirements:

● Native English speaker

● Excellent knowledge of English grammar

● TEFL/TESOL/CELTA Certification

● You have studied English as a foreign language, English, or you are a specialist in a related field

Minimum Education Level Required:

● Bachelor's Degree

Benefits:

● Free accommodation in the student residence, double room or single room (based upon availability)

● Free participation in our Spanish language course for 10 hours per week for entire stay, including free Fridays to join the City Tour excursions organized by ASI (during the first 8 weeks)

● Reimbursement of up to 300 Peruvian Nuevo Soles monthly for food and living expenses

● Commission according to the sales of the commercial part of the English Program

● 3 vacation days each month

● Participation in our events for free or at a nominal cost during your entire stay (e.g. barbecue, weekly salsa lessons, sports activities)

● Free luggage deposit if you wish to travel after your internship
