STUDENTS

Centers offer a modern and friendly environment for adult students to learn English with the focus on developing communication skills in a natural and authentic context. You will find highly motivated students who have invested in learning English to improve their personal and/or professional lives. Most of our students are between 25 and 35 years of age and are from all walks of life.

COURSES

Core Classes

Small class sizes combined with pre-developed lesson plans and professional teaching tools help you to deliver fun, interactive, and meaningful lessons with minimal outside preparation required. Core classes at Wall Street English have an average of three students. These classes involve controlled practice, communicative activities, and feedback.

Complementary Classes

Teachers also run Complementary Classes, which are communication classes of 8 students on average, allowing students to develop their fluency with fellow students at their same level. Class topics vary and usually involve interactive role plays, such as arranging holiday plans, ordering food in a restaurant, being interviewed for a job, and debating on a variety of topics.

Social Club

You can incorporate your creativity, cultural background and interests in Social Club activities that we organize for our students. Social Club activities could be anything from a pub quiz to a student theatre performance to holiday celebrations. The themes of Social Clubs depend entirely on you and your students' interests. The goal is to get all students together in a fun environment.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Learning is at the heart of our organization and on-going professional development is part of our company culture. Seminars and classroom observations provide forums where teachers can meet likeminded colleagues and develop their teaching techniques. With a promote-from-within policy, our managers are dedicated to mentoring teachers' potential and encouraging progression into management positions.

LOCATIONS

Wall Street English centers are located in 11 major cities in China. Each city offers its own unique attractions and delights. The locations are Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Qingdao, Suzhou, Foshan, Wuxi and Nanjing. More detailed information on what each city has to offer will be provided once we receive your application.

COMPENSATION

Option A

• 
  30 teaching hours + 5 office hours per week


• 
  Salary: 17,000 RMB (2,700USD) / month for Beijing


• 
  Salary: 16,000 RMB (2,500USD) / month for all other cities in China


• 
  Bonuses: details will be discussed during interview

Option B

• 
  21 teaching hours + 4 office hours per week


• 
  Salary: 11,900 RMB (1,900USD) / month for Beijing


• 
  Salary: 11,200 RMB (1,800USD) / month for all other cities in China

REQUIREMENTS

• 
  Bachelor’s degree


• 
  TEFL certificate (No TEFL? We recommendINTESOL- est 1993, accredited, 30% off -click here)

  2 years of teaching experience


• 
  At least 25 years old


• 
  Native English speaker from UK, USA, Canada, Ireland, Australia or New Zealand


• 
  Outgoing, professional, culturally aware personality
