Who We Are

GOLL English has been teaching professions in Colombia since 2008. We are a young and dynamic company eager to provide great classes and grow in this region. We are based in Bogota but we have classes in other regions such as the Eje Cafetero.

Our teachers go to the offices of professionals or to the university and teach there. Our students include such professionals as engineers, bankers, accountants and professors. Also, our university student program for undergrades is growing quickly.

A typical GOLL English teacher takes the grammar (or vocabulary) for that lesson and helps the students to use it in practical and natural conversational situations. We are very successful in enabling our students to communicate capably and confidently. Since our executive classes are small, 1-6 people, the students have many opportunities to achieve this high level of proficiency.

About the Job

We presently need teachers to teach at a university here in Bogota and in the offices of executives. The university classes are small, with 8-12 undergraduate students in each class. The material is provided for each student. The corresponding teachers’ manuals are provided for the teachers. The university is centrally located and has very good AV facilities. Classes are fun, interactive and educational. These above factors also apply to the executive classes but they are even smaller with 1-6 people in each class. They are also centrally located. Most classes are in the calle72 and Septima area.

Requirements

-presently in Bogota (we are not skype interviewing)

-no previous teaching experience, or training, is required

-enthusiasm and creativity

-flexibility and adaptability

-team players; work well with other teachers and administrators and follow the curriculum given

-strong communication skills

-native English speakers

-Spanish language skills are an asset but not required
