Details of Position

The British International School is looking for a Teacher to teach our Interns at the Head Office in Hayes. Suitable candidates will have been successful in their career so far, delivering effective lessons, receiving positive student feedback and having been supportive of colleagues. The Teacher will be required to teach a combination of General English and Business English for 8 hours per week. The Teacher is expected to be an effective communicator, good knowledge of business and experience teaching B2 and C1 levels of English.

Duties will include:

Teaching an average of 8 contact hours per week

Covering classes in the event of staff absence

Maintaining and developing new resources

Weekly quality register/schemes of work

Participating in CPD sessions and Meetings

Qualities looked for:

Encouraging, positive and sharing attitude to both classroom and professional issues

Awareness of developments in EFL and a willingness for self-development

Qualifications

Min. BA degree or equivalent plus CELTA / Trinity CERT

DELTA / Trinity Diploma qualified or equivalent preferred (or intending to complete it within the first Academic Year)
