1 Secondary Science and Technology Teacher (Chemistry, Physics, and Electronics and IT)

> Qualifications:

- You must have a Secondary Science degree

- You must have a teaching certificate for the content area above from your home country

- You must have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience (years count only after being certified)

- You must be a native English speaker between the ages of 23 and 50

*If you are a native English speaker with a bachelor's degree, but don't qualify for the position above ask us about other potential positions if you are flexible.

$2700-$3000/mo; $300/mo for housing; roundtrip airfare and 50% health insurance policy is provided.

> School Description:

This American international school was started in 2009 with the idea of building a school with a strong American curriculum in the Philippines. It is the only American international school in the Philippines and the school utilizes the American-based yearly schedule of classes, which are held from September to June with summer and winter breaks that accommodate both local and foreign students. The school offers K-12 courses with very small class sizes, giving the teachers time to focus on each student and closely track their progress. The school features mostly American licensed teachers and well qualified licensed local teachers as required by local laws.

The school is also a part of the Nacel International School System, a system that is NOT “based” on the American curriculum but “is” only and completely an American curriculum adhering to the legal guidelines and benchmarks of each grade’s curriculum and strand according to the Department of Education of the State of Minnesota.
