2 Teachers Needed for April Start in Suratthani

Are you a person who loves working with kids? Does the idea that you can have a positive and lasting impact on a child’s life excite you? Do you enjoy working with others to collaboratively come up with solutions to difficult problems?

Mathus Language Academy is looking for two teachers to start April 2015 on one-year contracts.

We Offer:

- Starting salary of 24,500 with one month’s salary bonus upon completion of contract

- Full health insurance - both social security and from a private provider (AXA insurance)

- Work permits and visas - no funny business or visa runs here. We’re legit.

- Fully furnished housing for the duration of your contract in one of our houses, all of which are within walking distance of the school. We don’t

like to brag, but one of them is 5 stories and looks like The White House.

- No more than 22 teaching hours per week.

- Wifi is equipped throughout the entire school meaning your lessons can include awesome videos with pen pals from around the world or even live skype video calls.

- No required office hours. We highly value and encourage teacher collaboration, but if you feel like lesson planning from home, a cafe, or a jungle treehouse that’s pretty much up to you.

- Weekly Thai Language classes.

- Optional ‘Family dinner’ with Penong and The Doctor (a.k.a. the owners a.k.a. your new Thai parents) every Sunday.

We Require:

- Native English speakers with University degrees.

- Experience working with children in some capacity or, at the very least, a very strong desire to work with children.
