Little Panda English Learning Centre, Hong Kong: Salary from HKD23,000 teaching young learners

A British owned and managed learning centre is recruiting teachers to start work in Hong Kong from April.

Our students range from 3 to 12 years old, the majority of classes being with small groups of 3 to 8 year olds. We teach a range of skills and linguistic classes with a flexible, communicative approach to learning. Due to the young age of most of our students, a lot of our classes incorporate phonics, basic reading and writing skills, and lexis that is often new to the students.

Requirements:

• Native English speaker

• CELTA or Trinity CertTESOL (CELTYL preferable)

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university

• At least one year's teaching experience

The ideal candidate will be outgoing, patient and hardworking. They will see teaching as a career, and be keen to improve and build upon their existing skills. Experience with young learners is a definite bonus.

The contract would begin in April and run for twelve months. The monthly salary is HKD23,000 to 25,000 (subject to experience and qualifications), and a 10,000 bonus will be paid upon successful completion of the contract. Employees get 15 days paid holiday, as well as all 17 annual public holidays. Employees work five days a week, from 9:30am - 6:30pm, teaching around 30 hours per week.
