Thai Secondary Schools require Teachers for International Education Program and Bilingual Program

Positions: Teachers for International Education Program and Bilingual Program

Location: Samutprakarn, Bangkok, Thailand

Status: Full-time from 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday.

Contract: 1 year, starting from March 2015.

Job Description:

• Provide high quality teaching and learning support to students, and conduct sound competency assessment within their discipline.
• Provide other support to ensure the effective functioning of the institute.

Responsibilities:

• Te ach according to the schedule given from 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM.
  
  • 24 classes per week / 4-5 classes per day
  • 50 minutes per class
  
  
• Complete assigned duties and extra-curricular activities.

Qualifications:

• Mus t be 22 years of age or older.
• English: Native speakers only or IELTS 7 Academic for non-first language English speakers.
• Bachelor Degree in related fields: Social Studies, Science or Mathematics.
• Specialization in language for primary and secondary education.
• Teaching experience is compulsory.

Compensation:

• Salar y: Approximately $1,100.00 (36,000 Thai baht) + additional compensation
  
  • The school pays the monthly salary for regular working hours. However, the teacher might get extra money under the condition that he or she is asked to teach in extra hours. The compensation agreement is between the school and employee.
  • Accommodation: A If there is no room available, the school will pay a housing allowance equivalent to the cost of renting a same size apartment.
  
  
• room will be given to stay in the fully furnished school apartment.

• Health Insurance: Employee will be given health insurance which includes health care and accident costs.
• Paid Vacation and Sick Leave:
  
  • Vacation Breaks: 10 days in October and one month in April.
  • Note: This condition will be in effect after the employee has completed one full academic year.
  
  
• Visa: The school will complete all paperwork needed, and sponsor work permit and visa.
• Airfare: Employee will be responsible for his/her own travel expenses.
• Orientation upon arrival.
