English Language Secondary School Teacher Jakarta, Indonesia - Excellent Package

3500USD per month + housing allowance, flights, medical, schooling (1 child)

We require English Language secondary school teacher with experience of IGCSE or IB diploma for an international school based in Jakarta. The school is IB accredited and offers a recognised programme for K-12 students.

Secondary students begin as specialists before specialising as they embark on their IGCSE programme in Grades 9 and 10; English Language teachers are required, with previous experience of this programme, to teach English Language to IGCSE students.

The school is located in a safe, semi-rural environment, offering a Cambridge accredited education alongside various co-curricular activities, camps, excursions, sports and cultural activities.

Currently we have two vacancies:

• 1 English IGCSE teacher

• 1 English A (Language and Literature) IB Diploma teacher

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an English or Education related subject. Master’s degree is preferred

• Recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE or equivalent

• Prior experience of teaching the relevant programme

• 5 years’ experience minimum teaching in a recognised school

Package

Full expatriate package available, 1 year contract, yearly airfare per teacher, medical insurance, housing allowance, one time settling in allowance, and all visa/work permit arrangements. One child free tuition. The salary depends on qualifications and experience but would be around 3500 USD net of local taxes per month.

These roles are to start in July 2015, ahead of the next academic year.
