Female Kindergarten 1 w/ Art and Social Studies English Language w/ Health

Anuban Phetchaburi School English Program is seeking to fill 2 positions for the upcoming school year, beginning May 1st 2015. The positions are for teaching in an English Program: English Language for grades 1-6 with Health grades 1-3, and Female Kindergarten 1 Teacher with Art and Social Studies grades 4-6. Throughout the year, other duties include training students for English language competitions.

Anuban Phetchaburi School is a government school located in the city center of Phetchaburi City, Phetchaburi Province (2 hrs south of Bangkok). The English program consists of kindergarten 1,2 and grades 1-6, one class per level. Maximum students per class is 30. Each classroom is air conditioned, has a TV., cd/dvd player, digital projector/screen, computer with LAN internet, and whiteboards. Each classroom has a Thai assistant as well as homeroom teacher. The building is outfitted with WIFI as well.

Applicants MUST be or have:

- A Bachelor Degree in any field (education preferable but not required)

- Able to qualify for a waiver from Kruusapa if not an Education major

- A native speaker

- A female for the kindergarten position

- A strong desire to teach English, Art, and Health subjects.

- Experience teaching young learners

- Able to follow a curriculum as well as create engaging activities based off of a text.

- Able to interview in person or via video Skype

Starting salary: No less than 30,000 Baht/month (negotiable upon degrees and/or experience)

The contract will be for one year, visa and work permit costs covered by the applicant; however, upon renewal of contract, all costs covered by school.
