We have a vacant position available immediately for a Native English speaking teacher in Phran Kratai, Thailand. Phran Kratai is located in the historical Kampaengphet Province, which is half way between Bangkok and Chiang Mai.
The school is a government secondary school; it has approximately 1,700 students with 35-45 students in each class. The Native English Teacher at this school can expect to teach approximately 20-24 teaching hours per week. The school day is between 8:00am and 4.00pm.
This school is in a quiet and more rural area, next to a few national parks. Those who enjoy breath-taking scenery would enjoy living in this area. Historical Park Kampaengphet and Historical Park Sukhothai are close by and are recommended for visits.
There are not many foreigners around, but there are 80 teachers at the school including 2 native English speakers (3 next term if you choose to stay at the school) and 2 more foreign English speaking teachers.
The successful applicant will be paid 30,000 THB per month and accommodation assistance will be provided.
This contract is to start immediately as the school finishes for summer break on February the 27th, however if you are happy and the school is happy this contract can continue over to the next term starting in May.
