Native Speakers of English Needed in Hokkaido

Subject: Recruit new workers.

JES Network is a company in Takikawa City, Hokkaido, Japan which works in association with the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture. Our office functions in a similar fashion to the JET program. We are now accepting applications for native speakers of English to be English teachers. Hired teachers will be dispatched to cities and villages throughout Hokkaido, such as Sapporo, Asahikawa, Hakodate, Tomakomai, Chitose, Ashibetsu, Takikawa and Wakkanai. Once dispatched to a city, hired teachers will teach at public or private elementary, junior high or high schools. Our office also operates English conversation schools, which we also recruit English teachers for.

Applications who understand spoken Japanese, Japanese culture and customs, and have a hard-working personality are preferred. Typical work hours are 30 to 35 hours per week. Vacations are set at 2 weeks in summer, 2 weeks in winter, 1 week in spring, weekends, and all national holidays. Salary is 250,000 yen a month, plus commuting expenses (gasoline). Electricity, water, and gas are not subsidized.

2. Japanese Level: Intermediate or better

3. Driver's License: Required

4. 1 Month Salary: 250,000 yen

5. We will cover up to 10,000 yen gasoline per month (this covers work travel expenses)

6. Apartment Rent (Roughly 38,000) + Gas, Electricity, Water will be payed by employee

7. Insurance + Tax: Will be payed by employee

8. People who work diligently and hard are preferred

9. Start of Employment: April 1st, 2015
