CAA English (Centro Anglo-Americano), a private language school in Vila Real (in the north of Portugal near the Douro Region, World Heritage Site) is looking for qualified EFL English teacher (native speaker or bilingual) starting right away.

We emphasize the communicative approach. We offer a relaxing and fun learning atmosphere as well as a high standard of teaching.

REQUIREMENTS

> Dynamic/ flexible/ reliable Native English Speaker or bilingual

> University degree – preferably in Language or Education

>ELT certificate (CELTA, CELTYL, DELTA, TEFL or TESOL)

>Excellent communication skills and computer literacy and willing to teach Young Learners and older teenagers from ages 10 to 15. >Acquainted with international language certificates (University of Cambridge – YL, PET, FCE, CAE, CPE)

>EU work permit or passport

(*Every year we get a lot of interest from international teachers but unless candidates already have a EU work permit or an European passport they cannot be considered. Please do not apply if that is the case.)

WE OFFER

>Full-time position to teach 24-30h week, Monday-Saturday

>Employment from 01/02/2015 to 30/06/2015 with possible extension.

>A salary of 1,000 euros/month net with fully furnished accommodation. Also provided: cable TV, utilities, and internet.

>Additional benefits: free Portuguese lessons, access to the national health service; 17 days holiday (carnival, Easter); in-house training and workshops; assistance in dealing with Portuguese authorities.
