Borderlink is currently looking for creative, outgoing, professional, and flexible individuals with a genuine interest in Japan, to work as Assistant Language Teachers (ALT) at Japanese public elementary and junior high schools in Koga-shi, Ibaraki prefecture, beginning in last August of 2014.
Applicants must have some proficiency in the Japanese language or a desire to learn the language. Previous teaching experience or extended interaction with children or young adults is preferred. We require that you be ready and able to commit to a contract that will run until the end of the academic year, and be punctual during your time working at your schools. You will receive training before your placement and periodically throughout the year.
Below is the location we are looking to fill:
Leader position in:
Koga-shi, Ibaraki
・Working schools: 6 elementary schools and 4 junior high school
・Working dates: last August until March 24th
・Working times: 8:30 to 16:30
・Work experience: 3 years ALT
・Japanese level: Conversational
・International or Japanese driver’s license
・Remuneration: Pay reflects teaching experience and duties
*Company car is available if needed.
