Full-time and Part-time Teachers Needed in Bangkok

I Can Read is a large literacy-based learning organisation operating in nine countries throughout the world. We specialise in the teaching of English literacy skills in addition to other important areas of child development, such as cognitive and social skills.

Students’ ages typically range from three years of age up to early teens.

We are seeking interested teachers for full-time (Wednesday to Sunday) and weekend part-time positions as Reading Specialists at various I Can Read centres as follows:

Bangkok

• Central Pinklao (Part-time)

• Fashion Island (Full and part-time)

• Sathorn (Full-time)

• The Walk Ratchapruk (Full-time)

• Victoria Gardens (Phetkasem Road) (Full-time) (February start)

Other Provinces

• Chonburi (Full-time)

All positions are ready to commence immediately upon completion of the I Can Read System training unless otherwise specified.

Successful applicants will be required to teach reading, writing, speaking and listening skills using the specially-developed I Can Read System.

Comprehensive training will be provided in all of our programmes and methods.

Ideally, we would like applicants to have the following attributes:

• A bachelor or higher degree from any recognised tertiary institution.

• A TEFL/CELTA/TESOL certificate (120 hours minimum).

• Be a native speaker from a country whose primary language is English.

• Possess clear speech with a universally understandable accent.

• Energetic and experienced in teaching or working with children.

Contract Details:

Full-time

• 12-month contract (4-month probation period).

• 40,000 THB per month (37,000 THB during probation).

• 30,000 THB bonus upon contract completion.

• 5,000 THB training bonus upon contract completion.

• Additional incentive bonuses upon contract completion.

• Work permit and visa assistance plus reimbursement of fees upon contract completion.

• 19 days paid annual leave plus 3 days paid medical leave.

• 24-month contract (4-month probation period).

• 1st Year: 40,000 THB per month (37,000 THB during probation).

• 2nd Year: 42,000 THB per month.

• 30,000 THB completion bonus after 12 months.

• 46,000 THB completion bonus upon contract completion.

• 5,000 THB training bonus upon contract completion.

• Additional incentive bonuses per 12-month period.

• Work permit and visa assistance plus reimbursement of fees per 12-month period.

• 19 days paid annual leave plus 3 days paid medical leave per 12-month period.

Part-time:

• 12 or 24-month contract.

• 450 THB per hour.

• 4,000 THB training bonus upon contract completion.

• Additional incentive bonuses upon contract completion.
