Founded in 1996, Al Ruya is a Bilingual Islamic School (Arabic/English) following an American curriculum (PreK-12). The school is non-profit, accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and accepts students of all nationalities, according to placement tests. Requirements:

•Muslim

•Bachelor Degree in Elementary / Primary Education.

•PGCE / Teaching Certificate/License/Diploma of Education (valid for teaching elementary)

•MEd in Education is an advantage.

•Qualified to teach elementary Homeroom English, Math, Science, Health, Art, PE, IT (Grade 1 or 2)

•Qualified to teach elementary Homeroom English (Grade 3 , 4 and 5)

•3 years of full time ((20 hours/week in a regular day school ) teaching experience (in regular schools school)

•Native English speaker

•CELTA / TESOL / TEFL is an advantage but not recognized on our pay scale.
