The British Council is recruiting a Senior Teacher, Young Learners to join our teaching centre in Seoul, South Korea. In addition, we are recruiting Training Consultants to join our Professional Development Centre (PDC) in Singapore. These posts have start dates in March 2015.
• Senior Teacher, Young Learners (Seoul, South Korea)
This opportunity will appeal to experienced business-oriented ELT professionals, who possess a keen grasp of YL teaching and methodology as well as a clear understanding of current directions in the market. The successful candidate will also show the ability to analyse and respond to trends, as well as a commitment to embedding good customer service into all YL services.
The ideal candidate should:
• Hold a TEFL-Q qualification (i.e. Cambridge DELTA or Trinity DipTESOL)
• Have at least four years post-certificate teaching a wide range of Young Learners
To obtain a Korean working visa, you should be highly proficient in English and have a university degree from an English-speaking country. Your original degree transcripts are essential for visa purposes (for select nationalities).

• Training Consultants
Trainer consultants can spend up to 50% of their time on project work and customising and creating training materials, tailored to the needs of business professionals. This can mean adapting current materials or writing new courses from the ground up.
The ideal candidate should have:
• An undergraduate/university degree
• A Cambridge CELTA /Trinity CertTESOL and/or relevant recognised training qualification
• More than 4 years of relevant post qualification work experience.
