Who We Are

GOLL English has been teaching professions in Colombia since 2008. We are a young and dynamic company eager to provide great classes and grow in this region. We are based in Bogota but we have classes in other regions such as the Eje Cafetero.

Most of our teachers go to the offices of professionals and teach there. Our students include such professionals as engineers, bankers, accountants and professors. Also, we have more and more university classes hence, our need for teachers to teach at the university. We have some specialised classes in our central office.

A typical GOLL English teacher takes the grammar (or vocabulary) for that lesson and helps the students to use it in practical and natural conversational situations. We are very successful in enabling our students to communicate capably and confidently. Since our executive classes are small, 1-6 people, the students have many opportunities to achieve this high level of proficiency (the university classes have 8-12 undergraduates in each class).

About the Job

We presently need teachers to teach at a university here in Bogota. The classes are small for an optimal learning experience. Most of the classes will be at night (6:30-9:30pm). The material is provided for each student. The corresponding teachers’ manuals are provided for the teachers. The university is centrally located and has very good AV facilities. Classes are fun, interactive and educational. University teachers will also be given some executive classes during the day.

Requirements

-native English speakers

-presently in Bogota (we are not skype interviewing)

-no previous teaching experience, or training, is required

-enthusiasm and creativity

-flexibility and adaptability

-team players; work well with other teachers and administrators and follow the curriculum given

-strong communication skills

-Spanish language skills are an asset but not required
