Female Teacher Needed to Teach First Grade in Honduras


Lago Yojoa Bilingual School in central Honduras is in need of one female teacher to teach first grade at our school from January 2015 - June 2015.

The start date will be January 5th.

We need a kindhearted, flexible and enthusiastic teacher to come down and be a 1st grade home room teacher.

(One of our female teachers is leaving and we only have housing accommodation for a female to replace her.)

Who we are seeking:

This teacher will be required to teach :

Mathematics, Science, English, Phonics, Spelling, Reading and Physical Education to an amazing class of 25 first graders whose 2nd language is English. The teacher does not have to speak Spanish because the teaching will be done in English.

We are seeking, a kind, patient, driven, and helpful teacher to come teach our amazing students and integrate into the peaceful community here in Honduras.

The school is located in rural Honduras; surrounded by natural beauty such as Lake Yojoa and Pulhahpenzak waterfall. The school continues to grow, and currently in it's sixth year, educates approximately 400 children, from kindergarten to Grade 10.

> 7000 Lempira {$350} monthly stipend

> Comfortable housing located close to the school, with internet and other utilities included.

> Our bus is provided for all transportation needs to and from school and to and from the airport.
