Position description: Teaching conversation English to primary school children, secondary school child and post-secondary education.Science and Math teachers are also welcome to apply.

Qualifications:

1. BA plus TEFL/TESOL for the majority of positions, but some positions are also available for those without a university degree.

2. Native or near fluent English Speaker. Citizens of US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand preferred, but other nationalities may be accepted.

3. TESOL, TEFL, or CELTA certificate (Inquire about MEG's TESOL course. It may be possible to arrange guaranteed placement)

4. Age limit: 19-60 years old

Salary and Benefits

$800 to $1800 / month depending on position, your experience and credentials. Those with a degree in education or master's can be placed into the highest paying positions. Ability to work with children is a plus.

Public School Jobs in Beijing!GREAT PAY AND BENEFITS

Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT) is recruiting 15 teachers to teach English in

public elementary and secondary schools in Beijing, China. This is a fulltime position and provides

teachers with a unique opportunity not only to work in the public school setting but also to help

train Chinese teachers in teaching methodology.

Responsibilities:

1) Maximum of 20 teaching hours per week, however 1 class hour is actually a 45 minute

period. Your lessons are supposed to supplement the curriculum already in place, but you do

have considerable leeway to add your own materials.

2) Attend a weekly teacher’s seminar to promote an exchange of ideas and approaches

between yourself and the Chinese English teachers. Once a month, you’ll be asked to lead

the seminar.

3) Offer your own thoughts about the development of the curriculum in a collaborative working

environment.

1) 15,000 RMB salary per month before tax.

assigned school throughout the year.
