Primary Homeroom Teachers Needed in Vietiane and Savannakhet

POSITION: Primary homeroom teachers

LOCATION(s): Vientiane, Laos and Savannakhet, Laos

START DATE: August 16, 2015 (one position available for 05January,2015)

Excellent opportunity for beginning a teaching career and/or working abroad at a growing school in a wonderful country.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

-Provide academic instruction for up to 24 (45 minute) periods per week

-Provide common area supervision for up to 90 minutes per week

-Follow the school curriculum (Cambridge Primary) using provided text book series and support resources.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

-Fluent spoken and written English (native-speaker required for grades 1-4)

-A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university

-Preferably two (2) years of teaching experience with relevant age group.

-Highly motivated and able to adapt to living in a tropical/developing country.

COMPENSTATION

-Starting salary of $1500usd (tax free)

-One-way flight reimbursement (as per school policy)

-School sponsored/paid one-year work visa/work permit/residence card

-12 month contract (11th/12th months paid 50% during summer break period)

-free lunches at school
