Chase Resourcing, Europe's leading Education Recruitment Experts, urgently require skilled of experienced Teachers/Tutors to work with our partner in Dammam Eastern province of Saudi Arabia. To supplement the on-going growth of our clients training centre in Eastern Saudi Arabia, they are presently recruiting Technical Studies Teachers with Experience in teaching Engineering, Math, Science and associated Engineering subjects.

you will be teaching male trainees who will eventually work in the Electrical Engineering sector. As an instructor will be required to teach up to 5 hours per day for a total of 25 hours weekly, which includes in-class instruction and supervising hands on training. You will be responsible for meeting the training and learning needs of the students who are all Saudi nationals and aged from 18 – 22 years of age.

You will be responsible for meeting the technical foundation learning needs of young male Saudi trainees who are preparing for careers in the electricity supply industry. Subjects covered in this program include: science for the electricity supply industry; health and safety for the electrical supply industry; mathematics for the electrical supply industry; and technical drawing.

Main Duties

•Teach 24 hours per week

•Supervise Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) lab sessions

•Prepare lesson plans, marking class and homework assignments

•Provide office hours for student consultations and advice

•Give course quizzes and tests in accordance with program requirements

•Mark tests and record grades using the LMS;

•Keep accurate student attendance using the student information system

•Attend and participate in staff meetings as required

•Implement academic quality assurance mechanisms, including student mid- and end-of-course evaluations

•Participate in on going professional development;

•Responsibly utilize the LMS for instructional and administration purposes

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

•Fluent spoken and written English

•Citizen of the USA, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa (subject to visa availability)

•Bachelor of Science degree or technical diploma in a relevant subject area from an accredited Western institution

•Hands-on, applied experience, including welding and electrical wiring

•A minimum of five (5) years’ relevant teaching/training experience at the secondary, technical, or tertiary level; experience in the Middle East/North Africa region desirable

•Knowledgeable, experienced and enthusiastic about using educational technology for instructional purposes

•Familiarity with and respect for the multicultural diversity and traditions that exist in Saudi Arabia

Package on offer:

•Salary of $72,000 USD, €55,000 EURO, £44,000 Sterling, TAX FREE
