English Teaching Positions in Hong Kong

STL Hong Kong ( http://www.stlhongkong.com ) is looking year-round & half year contract for qualified teachers. Begin or continue your ESL career in China. If you fulfill the following qualifications we would love to speak with you today;

-In good health

-No criminal record

-In possession of a current TEFL or CELTA certificate (100 hours or more)

-Hold a Bachelor's Degree or higher(Half year contract high school graduation is acceptable )

-Are a citizen of the U.S.A., U.K., Ireland, Australia, Canada, or New Zealand. South African applicants will be considered based on their ability to acquire a Chinese work visa in South Africa.

STL Hong Kong has been operating for the last three years placing teachers from the US and Canada in schools throughout Mainland China. Our goal is not to merely place teachers at any school and move on. We strive to make the transition as easy as possible and maintain relationships with our teachers throughout the entirety of their stay in China.

Our goal is to connect you with a reputable teaching institution seeking excellent staff. Each of our current and potential partner schools have been carefully screened through:

-Extensive interviews with the school owner

-Extensive visit to the school, ensuring the classrooms and teaching facilities are organized and clean

-References from a foreign teacher who has previously taught at the school

-Careful review of the provisions of the contract and expectations which the school will have of their teacher


We seek to provide as much information as possible to you regarding work contracts and school environments. We provide absolutely free advice and assistance for everything ranging from negotiating contracts, to visa applications, to everyday life challenges. We want to make the transition to, and life in, China as comfortable as possible.

STL Hong Kong provides a wide variety of positions and contacts with reputable schools that would be otherwise unavailable. All of STL Hong Kong's partner school provide visa sponsorship, housing or a housing allowance, basic medical insurance, and a salary ranging from 8,000 to 18,000 RMB per month (depending on experience and school location).
