Requirements

-presently in Colombia, or coming soon (we are not skype interviewing)

-enthusiastic, creative and fun

-flexible and adaptable

-team players; work well with other teachers and administrators and follow the curriculum given

-strong communication skills

-no previous teaching experience, or training, is required

-native English speakers, Europeans with excellent English or those who have lived in an English speaking country for more than 5 years.

-Spanish language skills are an asset but not required

Who We Are

GOLL English has been teaching in Colombia since 2008. We are a young and dynamic company eager to provide great classes and grow in this region. We are based in Bogota.

GOLL English teaches students in;

-a local and reputable university. At this university, we currently teach both professors and undergraduate students. Classes are small and vary between 5-12 students. Students are motivated and eager to learn English.

-the executive world. For these classes, our teachers go to the offices of professionals and teach there. Our students include professionals such as engineers, bankers, accountants and IT experts. Classes are small; 1-6 students. Most classes are in the calle 72 and Septima area of Bogota.

A typical GOLL English teacher takes the grammar (or vocabulary) for that lesson and helps the students to use it in practical and natural conversational situations, as outlined in the teachers’ guides. We are very successful in enabling our students to communicate capably and confidently. Since our classes are small, the students have many opportunities to achieve this high level of proficiency.

We are based in Bogota but we have classes in other cities in Colombia as well!
