English Literacy Teachers

I Can Read requires teachers for positions at various centres in central and outer Bangkok.

I Can Read is a large literacy-based learning organisation operating in nine countries throughout the world. We specialise in the teaching of English literacy skills in addition to other important areas of child development, such as cognitive and social skills.

Students’ ages typically range from three years of age up to early teens.

We are seeking interested teachers for full-time and part-time positions as Reading Specialists at various I Can Read centres as follows:

Full-time (Wednesday to Sunday unless otherwise stated)

• Central Bangna

• Central Rama 3

• Central Salaya

• Fashion Island

• The Walk Ratchapruk

Part-time

• Central Pinklao (Weekends)

• Sathorn (Weekends)

• The Circle Ratchapruk (Weekdays)

All positions are ready to commence immediately upon completion of the I Can Read System training unless otherwise specified.

Successful applicants will be required to teach reading, writing, speaking and listening skills using the specially-developed I Can Read System.

Comprehensive training will be provided in all of our programmes and methods.

Ideally, we would like applicants to have the following attributes:

• A bachelor or higher degree from any recognised tertiary institution.

• A TEFL/CELTA/TESOL certificate.

• Be a native speaker from a country whose primary language is English.

• Possess clear speech with a universally understandable accent.

• Energetic and experienced in teaching or working with children.

Contract Details:

Full-time

• 12-month contract.

• Salary rates starting from 40,000 THB per month (after probation).

• End of contract bonuses.

• Paid training.

• Work permit and visa assistance plus reimbursement of fees.

Part-time:

• 12-month contract.

• Salary rates starting from 400 THB per hour.

• Performance bonuses.

• Paid training.
