The capital of Dak Lak province, Buon Ma Thuot is buried deep in Vietnam's lush green Central Highlands, where it serves as the point of entry to the region's colourful natural wonders such as its many hidden waterfalls as well as Yok Don, the country's largest nature reserve. Home to more than 40 ethnic minorities, Buon Ma Thuot is also a showcase for the region's rich cultural tapestry.



A bustling small city of about 300,000 people, it is the largest city in the Central Highlands region, and provides a great launch pad for adventures into attractions of the Central Highlands.



Buon Ma Thuot is where you can find the best coffee in Vietnam. You may want to enhance your experience of this coffee town with some peaceful moments at a local garden cafe.



Travel 40km west of Buon Ma Thuot for the chance to explore Yok Don National Park, Vietnam's largest wildlife reserve. Here, just a stone's throw from Cambodia, you can camp, kayak, trek, spot wildlife, feast on durian and breathe in the fresh, clean air, Central Highlands-style.



We are American Academy language school which is based in Buon Me Thuot city. We are currently looking for 2 full-time native English teachers. Below is more details:



Duties and Responsibilities

 Assessing and continuously monitoring student progress

 Planning, preparing and delivering lessons to classes

 Encouraging students to actively participate throughout class

 Using a modern and dynamic teaching approach which allows students to communicate easily using the English language

 Teaching small groups or on a one-to-one basis

 Marking and providing appropriate feedback on oral and written work;

 Assessing and recording pupils progress by setting and marking coursework and examinations

 Participating in extra-curricular activities

 Getting involved in social and cultural activities such as sports competitions, school parties, dinners and excursions

 Participating in marketing events for the school



Package

Monthly salary: USD$1,200 -- 1,800

Working hours: 25-30 hours per week

Benefits: Overtime payment, work permit, visa, and accommodation support

Travel costs: Provide air/train ticket from HCM to campus

Qualifications

 Interest in:

Helping others to succeed

Learning more about language

Learning more about the different cultures

 Experience in:

Working with people from diverse cultures

Trying to learn another language

Teaching or tutoring children/adult ESL learners

 Hold bachelor degree or higher, preferably in English, Linguistics, Literature.

 Hold ESL Teaching Certificate (TESOL/CELTA/TEFL/equivalent)



Skills and qualities

 Adapt curriculum to provide individual, small group, and/or remedial instruction as to meet the needs of individual students and subgroups of students

 Oversee assigned out-of-classroom activities during the school day, as needed

 Manage allotted learning time to maximize student achievement

 Employ a variety of instructional techniques and strategies to meet different aptitudes and interests of students

 The ability to work with a diversity of individuals and groups
