We are currently looking for US (UK, SA, AUS, New Zealand may apply) female ESL teachers for a major all-female university in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to teach general English on the Preparatory Year (Foundation) Programme, starting in July. Working on 1 year renewable contracts, you will be teaching general English to female undergraduate students, full time.

Minimum criteria is 6 months teaching (classroom), a Bachelors Degree and classroom based 120hr TEFL / CELTA. Interviews for these positions will take place over Skype with offers being made there and then.

Minimum criteria to apply:

BA from a recognised, accredited university

120hr classroom TEFL / CELTA (no online qualifications are accepted)

6 months’ ESL teaching experience to adults (excluding private tutoring, freelance work, teaching assistance etc)

Willingness to travel to Saudi Arabia on single status (sponsorship of spouse/children is not possible)

Availability to join in July/August

Summary

We are currently looking for experienced Primary and Secondary school teachers for a well-established American programme school in Jeddah, to start this August ahead of the new academic year. The school was opened in 1985 with a view to providing a world class education to children in Jeddah, opening to boys, and then one year later, to girls, eventually expanding through primary and into secondary, including exam preparation. A nursery was also added in 1998. The school uses its own hybrid curriculum based on the Saudi national curriculum and American programme; students work towards exams including TOEFL and SATs. Currently there are 750 students from KG to Grade 12.

Vacancies for the 2015-2016 academic year, with a start date of 16th August 2015, are as follows:

3 years’ K-12 teaching experience for teachers

5 years’ K-12 teaching experience, with additional leadership experience, for Head of Department

Experience from an international school is an advantage

Experience of either the American or British Curriculum

Experience from the GCC is an advantage
