Golden Voice English (GVE) Online Education Inc. provides high quality language education that helps Chinese children from grades one - nine to accomplish their English learning goals. Position Summary

This is a part-time, independent contractor role, working on Saturdays and Sundays. As a Promotional English Tutor, you will participate in various public events and conduct English session to local children, to deliver unique and innovative E-learning lessons using GVE provided teaching materials, resources and techniques.

You must be available to begin immediately, and entitled to work in Tianjin, China. The hourly rate begins at $20/hr CAD and is dependent upon experience. You will gain rewarding experience working in the emerging and fast-growing online education industry.

Key Accountabilities

Review and utilize lesson plans provided by GVE for scheduled live learning lessons.

Participate in various public events to assist marketing campaigns.

Create a friendly, safe, supportive and respectful online environment, to help GVE students successfully complete the learning goals of each lesson.

Skills & Experience



Required:

Native level English fluency required.

Committed availability on weekends.

Minimum 1 year of language tutoring, which may include part-time or volunteer experience.

Must be punctual at all times and follow the agreed-upon lesson schedule.

Patient, hardworking and passionate about language education.

Strong communication skills interacting with English as a Second Language (ESL) students.

Entitled to work in China

Desired:

Bachelor's degree in Education or Teacher training certifications: Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) or equivalent.

Teaching experience in English as a Second Language (ESL)/English as a Foreign Language (EFL).
