We are recruiting up to 7 experienced, enthusiastic and dedicated teachers to join our dynamic teaching centres in Hong Kong and Rangoon, Burma starting in August and September 2014.

 Teacher of English – Hong Kong

British Council Hong Kong is recruiting experienced, enthusiastic and dedicated teachers to join our teaching team starting on 18 August 2014. We are keen to appoint staff who can demonstrate good professional skills and are willing and able to learn and develop. We offer a 35-hour per week contract which involves up to 21 classroom hours a week.

To be considered for this role you must have a recognised EFL qualification to at least certificate (i.e. Cambridge CELTA/Trinity CertTESOL) or preferably diploma level (i.e. Cambridge DELTA/Trinity DipTESOL) and have been educated to tertiary level. You will also have at least two years of extensive teaching experience, gained teaching kindergarten, primary, secondary and adults.

 Teacher of English – Rangoon, Burma

We are recruiting for highly motivated, flexible and customer oriented EFL teachers to join our Teaching Centre team in Burma starting on 18 August 2014 or 29 September 2014. As a teacher in the Burma Teaching Centre you will work as part of a close, dynamic and professional team in one of the most rapidly changing countries in the world. As Burma moves out of years of isolation, it is currently experiencing a period of development, investment and modernisation, making this a fascinating and rewarding time to live and work here.

To be considered for this post you must have a recognised EFL qualification to at least certificate (i.e. Cambridge CELTA/Trinity CertTESOL) or preferably diploma level (i.e. Cambridge DELTA/Trinity DipTESOL) and have been educated to tertiary level. You will also have at least two years of relevant teaching experience, gained teaching a variety of levels and age groups. We are particularly interested in teachers with Young Learner experience (aged 7-17 years) as nearly all teachers are timetabled to teach the majority of their classes to Young Learners.
