Short Term Teaching Contracts - Lakehead University - Thunder Bay, Ontario

 
Work Assignment:

• Teaching English as a second/additional Language

• Planning, preparing and delivering lessons to a range of classes

• Preparing, invigilating, grading and providing feedback for assessment material

Additional opportunities may include:

• Developing new programs and special courses

• Curriculum development and revision

• Marketing, student success, tutoring or short courses

Qualifications:

• Languages Canada teacher qualification requirements: http://languagescanada.ca/en/supporting-members/#custom-tab-0-quality-assur ance

• Masters Degree in related field is preferred

• Must be eligible to work in Canada

Rate of Pay: $30-$40 per hour (~23 teaching hours per week)

Start Date: January and/or March 2016

Duration: 1 to 4 month teaching contracts with potential for renewal depending on student enrolment.
