Primary School Teaching Positions in Satun Province, Thailand.

Echo English are now looking for Native English Speakers for teaching positions, at vibrant and modern Primary school level, in Satun, Southern Thailand.

Short description

At the moment there is one other foreign teacher at the school and up to ten in the surrounding schools in the same city. As there are a number of NES teachers already at this school, it will be a good opportunity to get to know a small community of fellow teachers that you can socialize with outside of school hours. The children at school are aged between 4 – 11/12 years of age.

Location

Satun is often described as a bustling little city, surrounded by limestone cliffs, rivers inside of a jungle valley.

There is a mosque and national museum, as well as a national park and many beaches to visit.

School details

There are 700 students that make up this Anuban to Prathom 6 school. The children at school are aged between 4 – 12 years of age. You will be required to teach within this entire age range for a maximum of 25 hours a week.. There is an EP (English Program) curriculum and resources are provided, including CD’s and videos. Before teaching the school will advise you on how to prepare your own curriculum and how to teach the curriculum given to you. The school day lasts from 7.30am - 4.30pm and classes sizes vary between 20 - 25 students.

Requirements:

– Native English speaker

– Bachelor degree

– Available Immediately

– TEFL certificate / teaching experience

Accommodation

Accommodation including a kitchen unit and AC is provided for free however bills are not included.

Visa work permit

All work permit costs are covered and we provide assistance when obtaining work visas.
