QUALIFICATIONS:

The qualifications are as follows:

- Be a citizen of a country where English is the primary language (Australia, Britain, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, and the U.S.A)

- Passes ten years of formal education in an English speaking country

- Preferred Teaching experienced teacher or Education/English diploma or related experience or diploma…At least, must be a teacher with TEFL or TESOL Teaching Certificate(+100hrs)

*Nationwide criminal background check notarized with an apostille,

*Apostilled copy of your university degree ( Notarized by Korean consulate for Canadian)

*Valid passport with at least 18 months availability

*2 signed original reference letters from a former employer or professor or supervisor

COMPENSATION and BENEFITS

- Salary 2.1-2.65Million KRW

- 300,000 won one-time settlement allowance

- Travel Stipends of 2.6 Million KRW ( Entrance and Exit Allowance)

- In case of Housing allowance: 400,000 KRW per month

- 3 weeks paid vacation and all national holidays

Public school position in Chuja island of Jeju Island(one small island besides Jeju island): This is famous for Fishing and Skin Scuba diving etc...Ocean activities.

You are working at 2 elementary schools(small number of students) and 1 middle school(small number of students) but number of students are very small and they are all close each other in the small island. From this teaching, You can get 250,000krw extra allowance(0.1M for rural allowance plus 150,000krw for multiple schools)..

JOB DESCRIPTION and WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Providing stability, transparency and opportunity in a professional

environment operated by the provincial government, these

government-sponsored positions at provincially-run public schools

require teaching only 22 classes per week (1 class is 40 minutes for

elementary; 45minutes for middle and 50 minutes for high school),

giving you the time available to make your adventure exciting and

positive. Additionally, each ESL teacher in the province has Korean

co-teachers to help with administrative processes and classroom

management.

1.Location: Chuja in Jeju

2. Start date: March 1 ( need to come by end of Feb..the sooner , the better)

4. Teaching targets: Elementary and Middle

6. Teaching hours: 22 *40min classes per week (9am-5pm work time)

7. Monthly salary: 2.0-2.4 million KRW (based on EPIK scale)

8. Airfare Stipend: 1.3 million at start of contract and 1.3 million KRW at completion

9. Settlement Allowance: 0.3M

10. Housing: Single Apartment

11. Other benefits: 50/50 Health insurance, completion bonus (equivalent to one month's salary)

12. Vacation: 3 weeks and all National holidays
