Seeking Full-time Teachers in Ho Chi Minh City

 
I Can Read System - Vietnam is seeking full time teachers to work at our Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi centres. Positions are available immediately, and for February and March.

I Can Read is a literacy-based English teaching organisation active in 7 countries worldwide, and is currently growing rapidly in Vietnam. Our unique, specially-developed system helps students develop the literacy skills necessary to achieve excellence in all four skills areas. Teachers receive huge satisfaction from seeing the rapid improvement in their students' abilities, and enjoy using a system that is scientifically proven to work (see http://www.icanread.asia for more information). Paid full training in our special system will be provided, as will continual professional development. Our students tend to be between 3 and 15, so experience teaching young learners (especially very Young Learners) would be desirable. Equally important is a readiness to adapt to our special system, a positive attitude and an open and friendly personality. Our lessons are held on weekday evenings and weekends, though the amount of hours available varies depending on the centre.

Requirements: The successful candidates will be native speakers from the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Ireland or South Africa, hold a degree and a recognised teaching certificate and have at least 2 years' experience teaching English as a foreign language. Applicants with a background in Early Childhood Development are especially desirable. Please bear in mind that our system is unique so you must be willing to adapt to our special approach.

Remuneration: Full Time teachers receive 38 million VND to 43.5 million VND per month (approx $1700-$2000) Selected candidates will receive an offer commensurate with their experience and qualifications.
