Recruiting 1 Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) - Female Teacher

Recruiting 1 Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) - Female Teacher, preferably with previous experience as an ALT to work in the Gunma, Japan area starting September 1st, 2014.

Applicants should be in Japan already or able to come to Japan ASAP.

POSITIONS: Kindergartens, Junior High School & Adult Classes.

APPLICANTS MUST BE A NATIVE OF THE FOLLOWING COUNTRIES. Canada, The UK, Australia, New Zealand, USA or from a country of which the first language is English or that lists English amongst its official languages and must have a command of English equivalent to that of a native speaker.

CONTRACT PERIOD: 7 month contract, starting September 2014 and ends March 2015 (with chance to re-new your contract for an additional year)

Salary: ¥230,000 – per month before taxes

RESIDENCE: Accommodation will be found for the applicant. No key money, modern tidy apartment.

Teacher pays monthly rent of ¥52000 - ¥55,000 plus utilities, gas and power. In Japan, rent is paid at the beginning of the month.

FURNITURE: washing machine, refrigerator, microwave and other regular furniture that comes with the apartment

WORKING HOURS: Schedules vary depending on the needs of the school, so please be flexible and open-minded. Classes range between 45 minutes – 50 minutes (including 10 minutes break).

TYPE OF WORK: Teach English to kindergarten kids, Junior High School and adults. Experience with children is essential. Ability to relate to and have fun with children. Participate in and assist with extra-curricular activities. Assist with other duties specified by the supervisor or the school principal at your workplace.

REQUIRED BA/BS: TESL/TEFL/CELTA or teaching certification, and basic Japanese ability preferred but not necessary. Applicants must be of sound mental and physical health. Applicants must not have a criminal record.

FEMALE TEACHERS highly recommended to apply due to teaching the wonderful little kindergarten kids.

VISA: Full sponsorship available to applicant.

HOLIDAYS: All Japanese Calendar holidays are paid.
