[Job Description]
• Act as the primary intermediary between instructors and head office staffs

We are currently looking for qualified professionals to join our team of oral proficiency specialists. New hires will conduct speaking assessment of Korean business professionals, in addition to other administrative tasks. This is a non-teaching position. 5. [FT] R&D – Business English Content Innovation & Training Development Specialist (Korean-English Bilingual)
[Job Description Overview]
The Content Innovation & Training Development Specialist executes plans for the writing, editing, and production of content throughout its development. He/she collaborates as necessary with other content innovation specialists on the instructional design and development of program, course, and textbook content, under the leadership and direction of Program Architects, Project Managers, and other senior staff. He/she is also responsible for planning, implementing, and conducting induction and recalibration training sessions and workshops for SPEP Intensive Corporate Trainers, under the collaborative leadership of the SPEP Intensive Program and R&D management staff.

[Job description]
• Design, develop, deliver, and evangelize "train the trainer" training curriculum and content that enable SPEP Intensive Corporate Trainers to provide traditional face-to-face instructor-led offerings and virtual instructor-led offerings to the highest of standards
• Participate in internal projects and pilots as needed to ensure offerings are effective prior to wide-scale general availability
• Partner with program architects, content innovation specialists, subject matter experts, corporate trainers, and others to assess and enhance existing SPEP program offerings to more fully implement SPEP learning methodologies and improve behavioral outcomes aligned with business needs
• Develop detailed course development work plans that include key activities, timelines, and resource requirements needed to achieve objectives while adhering to established SPEP R&D content development process
• Contribute to building a library of learning objects and instructional resources for SPEP R&D that can be used across multiple development experiences
• Provide practical ideas and insights to support the development of new R&D course content and curriculum while maintaining high standards for instructional design services, professional development opportunities, and course delivery
• Remain up to date on the latest trends in instructional design, teaching methodologies, and instructional technology and collaborate with team members to apply leading edge approaches to SPEP offerings
• Collaboratively plan, develop and conduct workshops/seminars/presentations in English for corporate clients, business professionals, and SPEP corporate training staff.

[Other Duties]
• Create and implement guidelines for corporate trainer monthly student reports, ensuring that corporate trainers adhere to the guidelines and are held accountable for submitting excellent work
• Create monthly student rosters and class divisions according to level test results
• Provide logistics and administrative support for all new course/program preparation and launchings as necessary
• Conduct speaking proficiency/level test assessments on a seasonal, monthly and/or needs-basis.
• Assist in the preparation of proposals and other materials for clients.

[Basic Qualifications]
• Korean / English bilingual capabilities: Excellent writing, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills in both languages

[Writing Samples Submission Guidelines]
The samples you submit should be representative of your best work. We encourage you to submit optional sample as well. Be prepared to discuss your samples in depth during the interview process.

All writing submissions must adhere to the following rules:
• The date or year in which the piece was written
• Submissions may be provided in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, PDF, or JPEG images.
• If the work is collaborative, specify the area of the content to which you contributed.

Mandatory
Sample #1 : One expository writing sample at least 300 words in length (submission required)
Original and self-expressive writing that showcases your ability to convey information in an organized, logical manner. We will be looking at content, style, and mechanics. We accept essays, research papers, journals, diaries, storytelling, journalism, blogging, and free writing samples.

Sample #2 : One lesson plan sample (submission required)
A business English speaking-focused lesson plan. The topic, content, length, and format of the lesson are up to you.

Optional
Sample #3A : One ESL content writing sample (submit if you have prior R&D experience)
Any material pertaining to ESL course curriculum or textbook development that shows your contribution to the development of the final product. There is no minimum word count or format requirement. Adult/Biz English content samples are preferred.

Sample #3B (recommended for those who have no R&D experience)
Any additional sample documentation that demonstrates your critical thinking skills or indicates your ability to succeed in this position.
