Located in South Korea, BIS Canada is K-12 certified by the British Columbia Global Education Program to offer education programs leading to B.C. Certificates of Graduation. We are a small but vibrant community in Bundang, just southeast of Seoul. We¡¯re looking for visionary teachers who will make a difference in the lives of our students. We currently have openings for the following teaching positions:

Physics 11& 12 and Math 10-12 Teacher
Qualifications: valid or eligible for BC teacher certification; experience teaching advanced math courses such as Pre-Calculus
Duration: One year contract: August 1, 2016 to July 31, 2017
Job Description:
Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM; teach curriculum from British Columbia, Canada to grade 10-12 students

Mandarin Teacher
Qualifications: valid or eligible for BC teacher certification preferred but teaching certification from Korea can be accepted; experience teaching Mandarin to Korean students
Duration: One year contract: August 1, 2016 to July 31, 2017
Job Description:
Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM; teach curriculum from British Columbia, Canada to grade 8-12 students

Academic Advisor
Qualifications: valid or eligible for BC teacher certification; experience as an academic advisor/ guidance counsellor
Duration: One year contract: August 1, 2016 to July 31, 2017
Job Description:
Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM; assist and counsel students regarding course selection, preparation for and application to post-secondary institutions; some teaching responsibilities included
