YEONGKANG ENGLISH SCHOOL, SOUTH KOREA
Yeong Kang English School (YK) has pioneered ESL education for the children who did not have chance to interact native English speakers. Over ten years YK has been serving many children. The academy currently has over 100 students enrolled, taught by four native teachers.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Salary Range: Starting minimum of 2.2 Million Korean Won or above (net income).
Income Tax: Teacher’s Income Tax will be paid by employer
Pension Insurance: 50% by teacher 50% by the school
Health Insurance: is provided
Free Housing: Fully furnished 2 or 3 bedroom apartment is located within a five minute walk distance from the school.
Free Utility: Electricity, water, gas, etc...100% of utility cost is paid by the school.
Paid overtime: Overtime is almost never requested
Paid Vacation: 2 weeks of paid vacation during designated school holidays, plus all official national Korean holidays
Flight Tickets: for a round trip is provided by the schools

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Teach six classes per day
Monday through Friday
50 mins class with 10 mins intermission
Class sizes range between approximately 8-15 students
Prepare lessons and grading quizzes and tests
Prepare annual christmas carol showcase

QUALIFICATIONS
Native English Speaker
Bachelor’s Degree

ABOUT THE CITY OF NAJU, KOREA
Naju city is located about 45 minutes away by bus from Gwangju, the capital of Jeollanam-do (a city of 1.5 million). Naju City is quiet compared to Seoul and other large cities, but does offer a full-range of services - banking, grocery shopping, several hospitals, many restaurants and home-delivery options - without the pollution and hustle and bustle of a large city. Mountain hikes and exercise facilities are within a 15 minute walk from the teacher's residence.
