Primary School Teacher needed in Bangladesh

Background
A modern international primary school is seeking to appoint up to 4 qualified and experienced primary school teachers to join their staff as soon as possible. The school is located in Narsingdi and near the capital city, Dhaka, and the medium of instruction is English. The facilities in the school are of an exemplary standard with the curriculum following the Cambridge International Primary Curriculum. The school is in the process of compliance procedures for the International Baccalaureate across its Primary Years Programme (PYP IB). The institution does not follow a particular religion but is respectful of all religions and cultures.

Contract Information
Contract start: as soon as possible and before mid-August, 2016
Contract duration: 2 years, renewable by mutual agreement
Salary: BDT 2,00,000 per month (US$2,500 approx.)

Qualification and Experience Requirements
• A four-year undergraduate teacher education degree (e.g. Bachelor of Education) OR
• An academic degree, say a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts, followed by a one-year or two-year postgraduate teacher education course
• Some classroom experience is required but newly qualified teachers with other experience are welcome to apply.
• A Certificate in PYP IB (desirable but not essential)
