Centro de Cultura Americana Ltda. Speaking , a language school located in Itajuba, Minas Gerais, Brazil, is looking for a young, enthusiastic, committed and energetic professional, who is willing to work hard. Bachelor´s degree and ESL certification preferred.

Our school has been teaching English, Spanish, French and German for the past 20 years and a year ago we moved to new confortable and modern facilities. Our team has 7 foreign and 12 Brazilian teachers working with 400+ students. The students' ages range from 12 to 40, the majority of them being university students.The position available is to teach around 30 hours per week from Monday to Saturday. Each class lasts one hour and has an average of 8 students. The starting wage is R$20, 00 (Twenty Reais) per hour (US$ 1 = R$ 3.7) . The teacher will be paid monthly on the 5th business day of the following month. Each teacher will be evaluated through a survey at the end of each semester and any raises will be based on the survey results, performance and availability. Pay is enough to live in Itajuba and to save some for traveling. Experience is not necessary. The school will provide a furnished suíte for the teacher. The foreign English teacher will be responsible for all advanced classes and advanced private students. The school is using Cambridge Press books from the Touchstone series, Cambridge Preparation for ibt TOEFL, OUP Stretch and Navigate series and handouts which are researched and prepared by the teacher.

The school is located in Itajuba, a university town located in the state of Minas Gerais, four hours north east of Sao Paulo and four hours west of Rio de Janeiro.
