Buckeye English is looking for teachers like you to join our team in Ukraine beginning June 12th, 2016.
Since 2011, Buckeye English has provided useful, interesting and fun English language instruction to corporations, language schools and individual students. Our programs are unique and we are passionate about what we do because we know English can open up new opportunities for our clients. That's exciting!

The EU and Ukraine signed a historic trade agreement which means Ukraine has begun to modernize and make reforms. English teachers are in high demand. As a native speaker, you are a "celebrity".

Buckeye English hires native English speakers from the US and Canada. We offer 3, 7, or 9-month contracts as conversation English instructors in Dnipropetrovsk, the second largest city in Ukraine.

Classes are usually no more than 10 students. Our students are professionals in the 22-35 age range. Students receive grammar instruction from Ukrainian teachers and practice speaking skills with native English speakers. Your job is fun and conversation based! You have been speaking English your whole life: this makes you an expert!

If you meet these essential requirements, please apply today:
Native English speaker from the US or Canada
Classroom teaching experience
2- or 4-year degree from an accredited US or Canadian college or university
Ability to adapt to and appreciate a foreign culture
Strong people, communication and presentation skills, creative, flexible, friendly and energetic attitude with a high level of professionalism

Preferred Qualifications:
CELTA or other TEFL/TESL certification or equivalent experience
Experience studying a foreign language - punctual, willingness to learn, international experience
Teaching responsibilities:
Teaching is primarily with corporate clients, IT companies, language schools and private lessons.
10-20 hours per week, Monday-Friday, Saturday 1 or 2 classes. Sunday and Ukrainian holidays off.

Compensation:
Your starting salary is based on your teaching load: 10-15 thousand Ukrainian Hryvnia (UAH) per month (this is a good, upper-middle class salary for Ukraine and more than enough for all your living and entertainment expenses). Teachers who excel in the classroom earn 18–24 thousand Ukrainian Hryvnia (UAH) per month.
Teacher support services include train station pickup, free introductory Russian language tutoring and a mobile phone loaned to teachers
Travel to and from Ukraine and visa-related expenses are the teacher's responsibility and are not paid or reimbursed by Buckeye English
